The Hunger Games trilogy of books was written for young adults but will appeal to anyone who enjoys an intelligent, exciting clean series-as will the movies...I'm eagerly awaiting the next installment, Mockingjay! Thanks a bunch for stopping by!

May the odds be ever in your favour
There are a lot of movies and performers that I like; in fact I've been creating a Silver Screen scrapbook over time, but the Hunger Games series is a recent favourite that I wanted to add and I thought that the Berry71bleu Movie Challenge for June was the perfect chance You can find their blog here: http://berry71bleu.blogspot.ca/
Using multiple photos was part of the challenge, and that's not exactly my forte, but I managed to incorporate three without it really looking like I did: the mockingjay design in the upper left was one photo, which I cut to create an embellishment, and the journalling was another (all photos found on my beloved Google Images!) I cut the phrase into strips so I could place it in different areas on the page. I started with plain black cardstock, stencilled with black texture paste, heat-embossed some stamped images in gold then rubbed them with ink, added some crackle finish and micro beads here and there, then embellished. I wanted to keep the colour scheme very simple so as not to overwhelm the images.
